And here are a few of our recently completed projects, which set us some interesting challenges during the course of the year, and have now all been handed over to happy clients on time and to budget!

213 A, Bath Road, Cheltenham - this complex infill project, handed over this autumn, comprises three apartments in an L-shaped structure. The site was heavily constrained by neighbouring buildings and so involved innovative foundation design to avoid structural problems on both sides.
Coniston Community Centre extension, Bristol – this project, completed in March, was complex in so far as we had to ascertain if it was structurally viable to design a steel frame to enclose the previously external roof-top break-out area.
Castle Combe Race Track extension, Wiltshire – PRO Structures undertook the concept design for an extension to the race control building at Castle Combe, working closely with the architect and specialist steelwork contractor to provide a new single-storey steel-framed extension, whose roof can be accessed from the main building for views of the race track. The extension opened this summer, adding to the visitor experience.
The Old School House, Minchinhampton, Glos –.a bespoke two-storey oak-framed mansion, for which PRO Structures provided the sub- and partial superstructure design. The specialist oak-framed trusses with stainless steel tie-rods were designed by The Timber Frame Company, and we worked closely with them to achieve the architectural vision.
New residential care home for Choice Care, Southampton – this change-of-use project to create new a care home in Westend, Southampton, was handed over in the summer. PRO Structures provided the structural engineering design for the new single- and two-storey extensions to the existing building, as well as justification of the existing structural components for the revised loadings.
